The Heavy Pets brought it back to South Florida to celebrate 10 years together as a band. They played two back to back nights in the intimate Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery. Each night had a specific theme. Night 1 was called “The Walrus: A Beatles Tribute”. Night 2 was called “It’s Going Down….Memory Lane”. Funky Buddha even tapped a new beer called The Walrus for the special occasion. Good beer and live music always makes for a good time! The Beatles tribute was really something special to see. Jam bands always put a cool spin on covering other bands. The second night was probably some of the best Heavy Pets shredding we’ve seen to date. Night 2 was a reminder of the past 10 years and a sign that the next 10 will be just as good! Photos and set lists below:
