Canada can be the butt of a lot of jokes, what with Justin Bieber, Terrance & Phillip, and Mayor Rob Ford, but not everything from our northernly neighbors can be taken lightly.
Enter Art Department. Art Department is the product of Kenny Glasgow and Jonny White. These funk-soul-brothers are part of the stellar lineup of incoming shows at Output that also includes Dusky, Carl Cox, Sasha and Eats Everything.
The venue, which is conveniently located across the street from the Brooklyn Bowl, helps us get that festy vibe in the city that doesn’t sleep. Case in point: after I let Soulive melt my face for a couple hours, I can continue the late night with Art Department. That jam > techno vibe is what we are also looking forward to most about Electric Forest this year, which Art Department is also playing.
