OWSLA is proud to present the Phonat Never EP. The title track for the EP is one of the catchiest songs I’ve heard in some time. With a sample that sounds like Curtis Mayfield or something (I googled and couldn’t pin-point it) this is a pure, unadulterated, funky slice of heaven. The second track admittedly loses me a little bit, and the remixes don’t come close to the original (in my opinion) but it’s definitely worth a post.
