Firefly has released their schedule for the 2015 festival! Here are some acts that we are excited to see:

Thursday: Tycho (Pavilion Stage, 10:45pm) –  Couldn’t image a better way to get me in the mood for the weekend at Firefly.

Friday: Sylvan Esso (The Backyard Stage, 5:00pm) – Obviously VERY excited for a TWO AND A HALF HOUR SET from Sir Paul McCartney and a late-night set from How To Dress Well, but I had to mention Sylvan Esso. They’ve been making their way through the music scene with their catchy songs like “Play It Right” and remixes of “H.S.K.T” and “Coffee.” I can’t wait to see how they vibe and translate at a music festival.

Saturday: Andrew McMahon (Firefly Main Stage, 1:15pm) – How awesome is former Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin member Andrew McMahon, who’s kicking off Saturday on the MAIN stage??

Sunday: The Killers closing our Firefly 2015: I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I am a massive Killers fan. It warms my heart to see them back in the Woodlands. Ryan Corimer of The News Journal interviewed Firefly festival director Greg Bostrom and asked him why are The Killers headlining for the second time in four years : (whole article here)

Bostrom: “To date, The Killers has been one of the best received headliner performers we’ve had. Anyone who was there in 2012 will tell you that the showmanship, the catalog, the energy, the live show: I don’t think there was a disappointed soul leaving The Woodlands. Every time we ask our fans who they want to see, across the board they’re telling us to bring The Killers back. That’s been reflective in every survey we’ve done and every time we’ve posted on Facebook. They have made it clear: they want The Killers. With the growth of the festival — the first year we were at 30,000 and this year we should at least triple that — there’s a huge portion of the fans who didn’t see them.”

See you in the Woodlands!
