At any given festival, there may be a ‘Superjam’ of sorts, whether it’s the planned variety that Bonnaroo orchestrates, or the in-the-moment mayhem when Gov’t Mule and Widespread Panic are playing back-to-back on the same stage. Brooklyn Comes Alive, on the other hand, focuses purely on these one-off jams, uniting members of the jam community in ways that have never before been seen.
As they announce the full lineup for their 2017 festival, the two days are full of tasty configurations. Day one boasts an Allman tribute with Krasno, Roosevelt Collier, Al Schnier, and more, along with classic breakbeat duo The Crystal Method, DJ Premier, Dave Harrington’s Merry Pranksters, and more! Day two has A Tribute to Jamiroquai, moe.queous, Eric Krasno & Friends, Dookie, and many more.
Passes for the event are still on sale now, and we would highly recommend not missing out on two entire days worth of unique jam sessions in the heart of Williamsburg.
