Well here it is folks…
If you’re not a fan of Weird Al Yankovic or excruciatingly painful home-skype cameos, there’s the lineup. Bonnaroo, Tennessee’s premier music festival, has done an outstanding job at compiling a list of artists that can appeal to all walks of life. Mumford & Sons, Paul McCartney and Tom Petty will take over 3 of the headlining slots, but I believe they will add another headliner before giving that final slot to Bjork or Wilco. That’s just speculation though.
I like the hip-hop game this year! Big KRIT, ASAP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and F%*&ING NAS & WU-TANG CLAN?? Get outta town, that’s like a mini Rock The Bells Festival right here in ‘Roo.
The XX, Purity Ring, Animal Collective, Of Monsters & Men and The National give me that strong indie fix most festivals seem to lack.
And it wouldn’t be a post-millenium festival without some computer noises in your face, right!?!? Pretty Lights, Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Boys Noize, and A-Trak will bring DJ culture to the Farm this summer.
