Suwannee Hulaween Announces Phase 2: Umphrey’s McGee, Lotus, Damian Marley, Mike Gordan + More!

As we gear up for the best Florida festival of the year, Suwannee Hulaween has announced the Phase 2 additions to their 2017 lineup. These include Damian Marley, Mike Gordon, Lotus, Umphrey’s McGee, and more! The full list is at the bottom.

These names joined the stacked roster previously announced in the first phase of the festival lineup, including Ween, Bassnectar, Griz, Disco Biscuits, Kamasi Washington, and of course three nights of the String Cheese Incident.

Hulaween has been steadily growing since its inaugural year in 2013. Since then it has become known as the “Electric Forest of the South”, with the Spirit Lake area mocking the Sherwood Forest, where art installations create a vibrant area for festival-dwellers to lurk around, get weird, and enjoy late-night music. The festival has also booked an increasingly bigger lineup since 2013, with My Morning Jacket, Pretty Lights, Disclosure, Thievery Corporation, Shpongle, Logic, Primus, STS9, Slightly Stoopid, and more bands that regularly pack arenas and amphitheaters joining the alumni over the past few years.

This is Hulaween’s fifth year, which makes it one of the longest-running festivals currently held at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, a cherished festival ground in North Florida, just an hour outside of Tallahassee.

We’ve been lucky enough to cover each year of Hulaween, and look forward to joining everyone again for the 2017 version of the festival!
