The GroundUP Music Festival has announced their second annual lineup, featuring some of the best jazz talent around just steps away from the beautiful North Beach of Miami.
Snarky Puppy headlines the festival by playing all three nights. Last year they brought out special guests while absolutely melting the faces of the Miami crowd. This year they’ll be joined by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Trio, The Wood Brothers, Robert Glasper, Joshua Redman, Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music, and many more.
Some of the highlights last year included late-night sets in the Deauville Beach Resort, where jam sessions went into the early hours of the following morning. There were also tons of epic collaborations all weekend long, including mandolinist Chris Thile sitting in with Snarky Puppy, and Esperanza Spalding making appearances all over the place as artist at large.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, and we certainly suggest you take advantage of the chance to enjoy three days of wonderful jazz, funk, soul, and beyond on the sandy shores of Miami.
